  • When do these classes become available to me?

    The first class will be available Tuesday November 14.

  • How long will I have access to these classes?

    You have 180 days from the date that you sign up.

  • I'm a beginner. Will these classes work for me?

    Each lesson includes a reference photo, my demonstration painting and easy to follow video tutorials.

    This series of classes includes intuitive composition, layering and glazing paint and mixed media application. If that sounds uncomfortable to you, you might wait until you feel more confident in your skills. If you're OK with just jumping in to a new process of creating several pieces then this series of classes should work for you.

  • Is this class refundable. once I sign up?

    No it is not.

  • What basic supplies will I need?

    100 % cotton paper, 140# cold press at least 15” x 15”—bigger if you want

    Sketchbook or extra sheet of paper to experiment with drawing and colors

    Tissue for lifting paint

    Paper towels to put under painting

    A piece of foam core board to use as a paper support—this saves the table and gives your paper extra stability when it’s wet

    Masking tape to divide paper.

    I will have a reference photos available for each lesson. If you have other photos you would like to create small paintings from, please feel free to use them.

    Spray bottle

    Pipette or dropper

    Saran wrap

    Salt

    Your choice of brushes

    Hair dryer if you have one if you want to dry paint faster

    Graphite Paper

    Painting Supplies At least 4-5 different colors of tube paints. I'm using Azo yellow (substitute lemon yellow), Perlene scarlet (substitute permanent rose), Ultramarine turquoise (substitute phthalocyanine blue).

    Higgins waterproof black ink

    White acrylic paint, or white acrylic ink or white gouache

    Granulation medium
